About Michelle

Michelle Payne is dedicated to equipping young adults with the tools they need to develop powerful mindsets, giving them a competitive edge and instilling principles for success in life. As a mom of athletes, she intimately understands the frustration of watching your child struggle to excel on the court or field and the helplessness of seeing their composure fall apart.

With over 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist, Michelle has committed her career to helping others set and achieve their goals. In 2019, she expanded her expertise into the personal development by becoming a Proctor and Gallagher consultant and teaching the transformative 12-week course “Thinking into Results.”

Michelle comprehends the intricate relationship between mindset and physical performance, consistently challenging herself and others to perform optimally and achieve physical and mental personal bests. Her unique approach includes teaching student-athletes proven mindset techniques using a visioning tool called Power-Boards, which helps them excel not only on the court or field but in all aspects of their lives. 

In addition to her personal development coaching, Michelle continues to inspire through group fitness classes and personal training sessions. Her certifications include Silver Sneakers Instructor, Certified Medical Exercise Specialist, and Group Exercise Instructor through the American Council. 

A longtime Bay Village, Ohio resident, Michelle lives with her husband, three children, three cats, and a dog. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking and cherishes traveling in the US and abroad. In the summer, you’ll often find her taking long walks to the beach and soaking up the warm weather.
